Description

This 3-in-1 photometer gives digital readings for three core hot tub and spa control checks: chlorine, bromine and pH. It is designed as a portable, poolside instrument with a backlit display and a robust housing, making it practical for plant rooms and regular site checks.

How to use

1. Rinse the vial with the sample water, then fill to the 10 ml mark. 

2. Insert the vial to take the blank (zero) reading as guided by the instrument. 

3. Remove the vial, add the correct tablet reagent for the test selected (chlorine, bromine or pH), then crush and mix until fully dissolved. 

4. Reinsert the vial in the same orientation (as indicated on the vial and chamber), then run the test to display the result. 

5. Record the result and retest after any dosing adjustments once circulation has mixed thoroughly.

Dose guide (per test)

• Photometer tests use tablet reagents per method. Follow the on-screen method for the correct tablet and reaction time for each parameter. 

Note: multiple readings may be required

If results are outside your target range, adjust dosing in small steps, allow adequate circulation time, then retest and log the updated reading.

Safety and handling

• Do not handle tablets with wet hands and do not mix reagents. Keep tablets dry and in the original packaging until use. 

• Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and wash hands after testing.

• Keep the vial exterior clean and dry before inserting it into the photometer chamber to protect optics and reduce errors.
