What it does

Blue Horizons pH Plus is a granular pH increaser used to raise pool water pH when it falls too low. Keeping pH in the correct range supports bather comfort, helps sanitiser work effectively, and protects pool plant and surfaces. The ideal pool pH range is 7.2 to 7.6.

How to use

1. Test your pH first

If pH is below 7.2, pH Plus is used to raise it. 

2. Pre-dissolve (recommended method)

Pre-dissolve in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g per 10 litres of clean warm water. Stir well until fully dissolved. 

3. Add to the pool with circulation running

Carefully add the solution while the pump is on, ideally near inlets to help distribution. 

4. Wait and retest

After a minimum of 8 hours, retest pH and repeat treatment if needed until the ideal range is established. 

Dose guide (per treatment)

• 4,545 litres (1,000 gallons): 50g
• 11,364 litres (2,500 gallons): 125g
• 22,500 litres (5,000 gallons): 250g
• 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons): 500g 

Note: multiple treatments may be required. 

Safety and handling

• Avoid contact with acids and do not mix with other chemicals.
• Wear suitable chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling.
