Clean and disinfect all equipment, skimmer baskets, pump strainer, etc.

Check pool cover condition (tension, integrity, water/debris on top)
Pump off standing water from covers and remove debris to prevent strain
Digital water chemistry test & inspect the pool water level for signs of leaks
Add winterising chemicals or algaecide if levels or clarity are dropping
Check for frost damage, cracking or corrosion on surfaces and fittings, filters, pumps and valves
Confirm backwash and waste lines aren’t leaking
Check any heaters, AHUs, or dehumidifiers' frost stat is operational and set correctly
Clear drains and sumps around the pool, and check for pests
Document any concerns, recommendations, or urgent repairs
